Visit the best of Lewes’ traditional and contemporary breweries with International Beer Judge, Dan Sandy!
Meeting at Cliffe Bridge overlooking the ‘Lewes Cathedral’ aka Harvey’s Brewery, this hosted half-day beer tour for the first time includes a tour inside Harvey’s Brewery lead by Head Brewer Miles Jenner, then continues to the John Harvey pub for a couple of swift halves of immaculately kept Cask Ale.
It moves on to Beak Brewery tap room for some outstanding US inspired Ales, and finishes at the bustling fun factory that is Abyss Brewing tap room for some last tasters.
This is a walking tour, which, while staying on flat ground, includes about 45 minutes of gentle strolls between the venues, during which your guide Dan will point out some interesting local history and beer insights.
At both Beak & Abyss breweries there is excellent street food available for purchase.
A full itinerary with local points of interest will be provided before the day.
