Events, Shows & Trips
With events/trips you will see a member price and a non member price. From this you may ascertain the discount available.
For shows you will not have a seat number on purchase, yet you may deduce where you will be seated from the unsubsidised price.
Football, Ice Hockey & Rugby
Football cashbacks are available now without a reference for 8 home games in our area per calendar year. This includes league, friendlies or cup games. Two of the eight maybe an away fixture or international in England.
Once you've attended the fixture please complete the online claim form within one month and you should be paid within a month of submission.
Ensure you submit a screenshot or photo of your receipt showing cost & proof you paid. Do not pay cash to a friend or purchase a ticket in a non member name.
Please ensure your membership name matches the bank account your claiming to.
Please remember one membership number will subsidise one ticket for your use only.
You must have attended your last event before you can apply for another fixture. You may claim 35% of the ticket cost, up to a maximum of £20 e.g. ticket price = £25, cashback = £8.33.
You may also make 8 claims in total for rugby and also 8 ice hockey home matches per calendar year, this now includes friendlies & Cup games. Tickets up to Gold level for ice hockey. Again, no need to contact a volunteer.
Same procedure for monthly mover offers which are additional cashback deals.
A third of the ticket price is returned as cashback.
Club Cashback (New for 2024)
Claim up to £30 per calendar year by showing you’ve joined any club, gym etc where you’ve spent over £90 to do an exercise.
Horse Racing
Horse racing is available, where you may claim separately after attending 2 events a calender year. Please claim after each event separately via the monthly mover cashback using the online link above.
2024 Update: 35% cashback off all local meetings payable after one visit. You may make 2 claims a year.
Not valid for alcohol, meals or accommodation.
Again ensure your bank name matches your membership name.
Monthly Movers
Monthly movers are additional cashback deals to the 2 x £10 claims described above, and are to promote extra activities including horse racing, afternoon teas, etc. Please apply for cashback after your visit.
Sport or Leisure Cashback
You may submit 2 x £10 claims in a calender year for events you attend e.g. shows, concerts, sporting events. Once attended, please submit your receipt or ticket via our online form linked above.
No alcohol, meals or accommodation.
Ensure your bank name matches your membership name.
Chatsworth House
£20 cashback is available. One claim per member after purchasing any entry to the house, garden and farmyard. Visiting alone or with friends or family the £20 subsidy is the same.
Historic Houses cards
These are reserved via email application and then collected from a volunteer’s house via a keypad safe held in the garden. Cards MUST be returned the same day. No postal requests.
Belvoir castle is a favourite.
We have 12 cards about our area, 2 at Chesterfield, 2 at Lincs/Beeston and 2 at Tithby South Notts, 2 near Belviour castle and 4 at West Bridgford for day bookings.
For holiday bookings up to 8 days are available at Lincs/Beeston , Chesterfield and West Bridgford.
English Heritage
Free to you and a guest and children reserve your tickets on their site and when purchasing tickets. Where you see admission and donation, scroll left to reveal the associated organisation. You will need to show your purple CSSC digital membership card on your member dashboard on your phone for entry at the site.
Crich Tramway
Just turn up and show your purple CSSC digital membership card and you will get the 2 for 1 price.
Golf
Available with one Tee Time per day at the Nottinghamshire and also at Erewash golf course. Text the Nottinghamshire volunteer the date you want to play preferably a week or more before and you will later receive a text back to confirm or decline.
You will be selected if you are the only application or if multiple applications, you have not played as many times as others. Please ensure you give all names and members' numbers together with a rough tee time /course.
At Erewash applications are via text. Supply your names and membership numbers with a rough tee time. Only one active request for any date in the future is permitted. You cannot reapply until the previous requested date has passed. Initially, the volunteer will say you are successful then confirm a while later, your tee time exactly 1 week before due to the club booking system.
Cricket
There are 5 Notts cricket season tickets for county fixtures, which are collected and returned to the volunteer who lives in Beeston.
Spa Days
Our Spa day offer is available for Derby,Notts & Lincs members only. One claim allowed during April – December at 35% of the cost up to a maximum of £36 e.g. spa cost = £100, cashback = £35.
