For a limited time Anglia members can claim 35% back (up to a value of £54 in one year) for purchases made that fall under one of the following schemes:
1. Sports and fitness - Gym or sports club membership or exercise classes
2. Leisure annual membership - Museums, attractions, historic venues and season tickets
3. Theatre tickets
4. Live sport & concert tickets
5. Local offers – Boating on Norfolk Broads, organised activity/outdoor courses, school holiday sports camps
6. Self-development - Learn new things and build new skills – such as language courses.
Please note that a maximum of £54 can be claimed each year across the six categories, not individually.
A CSSC Anglia member (“Claimant”) may, on submission of valid proof of purchase, claim back a maximum of £54 in relation to their own expenditure under the above schemes.
Claims must be submitted after the event has taken place, and the last date to submit claims for 2024 is 17th December. Any claims made after this date will not be processed.
How does it work?
Itemised receipt or proof of purchase must be provided with the claim. This can be sent as a document, booking confirmation email or screenshot.
Closing date for applications is 31st December 2024 at midnight. In most cases you should receive the funds into your bank account within 30 days of successfully completing, submitting and CSSC approving your application. You will receive an email remittance once payment has been made.
1. Sports & Fitness
1a. Memberships
A grant of 10% of the amount paid, up to a maximum of £30 is payable for each sport and fitness membership including classes and clubs.
Where membership is jointly taken out with another person, the persons will be treated as having equally paid the membership and each such member will be eligible to claim the grant based on their share of the membership.
1b. Entrance fees and expenses
A grant of 10% is payable, up to a maximum of £30, for entrance fees and expenses when participating in any sporting activity, organised by a CSSC group within the Eastern region.
This is with the exception of competitions or activities organised by the Eastern region.
1c. Season tickets
A grant of £10 is payable for each season ticket that enables the member to watch sports activities (e.g football, cricket, rugby, speedway, horse racing) in the current season.
2. Leisure Memberships
A grant of £10 is payable for each leisure membership that gives a member access to wildlife sites and reserves, historic houses and gardens, museums and galleries.
Please note, claims can only be accepted for memberships taken out or renewed in the current year.
3. Theatre
3a. A grant of £8 is payable towards annual membership of theatres.
3b. Members can claim a grant of £2 per theatre ticket purchased, per occasion.
Please note that members can claim 3a or 3b, not both.
4. Event organisers
Free Place Policy is subject to prior approval by the Committee. All events must be available for purchase via NuTickets.
For events with more than 10 members attending, subsidies may apply in accordance with the CSSC Subsidy Policy and the event organiser can claim a free place.
For events with less than 10 members attending, subsidies only will apply (if applicable) and no free place.
5. Live events
Live sporting & concert event tickets will attract a grant of £5 per member per occasion.
6. Local offers
Boating on the Norfolk Broads: £10 per hire up to a maximum of £30 per member per year.
Organised activity/outdoor courses: £5 per member/members' child per event up to a maximum of £30 per member, per year.
School holiday sports camps (e.g football): £10 per child for any camp or course they attend no matter where it is, up to a maximum of £30 per annum.
Language courses: £10 per term £30 per academic year.
