Remembrance Sunday

This weekend is Remembrance Sunday, when the nation comes together to remember and honour those who served and continue to serve in the Armed Forces.

Since our formation in 1921 we have worked in partnership with the armed forces to host competitive sports days and events. Bringing the very best talent and skill together across rugby, football, cricket, running and many other disciplines to unite and inspire those who take part.
We are proud to have worked so closely with our armed forces and recognise the sacrifice they, together with their families and friends, make every day, to protect the nation and its people.

Armed Forces Covenant

In 2019, our then CEO, Simon Lee announced our commitment to uphold the ideals of the Armed Forces Covenant, a pledge to treat all those who have served, continue to serve and their families with fairness and respect in the community, economy and society.

The Covenant, written in 1997, includes all branches of the armed forces, including veterans, and their families, focusing on providing education, wellbeing, financial assistance, healthcare, a new home and new career for those who need it.

You can find out more about the Covenant on their website.

We are committed to honouring those who serve in the armed forces and providing the tools, events, experiences and opportunities they and their families need to stay active, healthy and engaged.
