Join ‘Our Future Health’ and help everyone live longer, healthier lives

We’re delighted to support the Government People Group in promoting Our Future Health, a health research programme in partnership with the NHS.

2 million people are already taking part in Our Future Health, the UK’s largest-ever health research programme and the world’s largest programme of its kind. It aims to help people live longer, healthier lives through the discovery and testing of more effective approaches to prevention, earlier detection and treatment of diseases.

Why is Our Future Health needed?

Today, millions of people spend many years of their life in poor health, suffering from common diseases such as dementia, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
59% of people aged 65 or older in England live with two or more serious health conditions. By 2035, that figure is expected to rise to 70%. Too often, we detect and treat diseases only when patients start showing symptoms.  Together, we can help researchers find ways to prevent, detect and treat diseases earlier.
Our Future Health is inviting millions of people to take part, from all backgrounds and from right across the UK. You will be asked to complete an online health questionnaire and attend an in-person appointment.

Recognising your time and effort

After completing the questionnaire and attending your appointment you will be offered a £10 voucher (Voucher Express) to recognise the time and effort of volunteering. You can choose whether to accept the voucher or donate it back to the Our Future Health charity.

Take part in Our Future Health

Everyone over 18 living in the UK is eligible to join Our Future Health, including people with pre-existing health conditions.
