Thanks to some perfect weather, superb organisation and stunning floral surroundings, the iconic location of London’s Battersea park, once again, was the perfect backdrop to our annual 10K run, 5K run and walk.
With over 400 entrants to this year’s races from 54 departments across the capital and beyond, each race proved more successful than ever before.
Special congratulations go to our 10K men’s winner, Jack Millar, with a time of 32 minutes 50 seconds. And to our women’s winner, Rachael Rozhdestvenskaya, with a time of 38 minutes, 23 seconds, coming 18th overall.
Helping to ensure the day ran smoothly (no pun intended) were 15 CSSC staff volunteers and 10 CSAA volunteers. And bridging the gap between both these fantastic, historic institutions was CSAA president and CSSC historian, Hedley Featherstone, who was on hand to welcome home the finishers and present the lead runners with the medals.
Thank you to everyone who attended this historic run and those who helped make this a fantastic occasion.
You can check your time on the official chip registered website here, and view all the photos from the day on our dedicated website.
