Mike from the Welsh Government applied and received funding for pitch hire. This is what he had to say.

“I have received lots of positive feedback about the whole event; regarding how well organised it was and how it encouraged people to get active (the second point being very encouraging).

For me the CSSC funding was massively beneficial because having the facilities and equipment paid for meant that I was able to purchase a kit for everyone from the other available funds I had. The kit is going to ensure that we can play future games which in turn will keep people active.

By funding the equipment (footballs, trophy and practice session) the CSSC has ensured that we have equipment that we can use again and again for future training sessions and matches. Off the back of this I’m even thinking of getting an inter-office regular 5 a side game going”
