Get ready for a giant-sized Christmas adventure at The Kings Theatre this December 2026 with the #PompeyPanto – Jack and the Beanstalk! The legendary Jack Edwards returns for his twelfth Kings Theatre panto as the fabulous, outrageous, and unstoppable Dame Trott, bringing all the laughs, naughtiness, and mischief you could ever wish for.
Cheeky hero Jack trades Daisy the Cow for “magic” beans, grows a beanstalk, and climbs into a world of adventure, mayhem, and sky-high chaos. Alongside him are his hopeless but hilarious brother Silly Simon, the kind and clever Princess Jill, the truly wicked Flesh Creep and the grouchy Giant Blunderbore, with the magical Spirit of the Beans keeping everything on track, or trying to!
Expect golden eggs, magical harps, audience shout-outs, and panto pandemonium, plus the legendary Ghost Gag bench that will have the whole theatre joining in. And don’t forget the classic Twelve Days of Christmas singalong … toilet rolls at the ready!
Packed with laughs and thrills, Jack and the Beanstalk is the perfect festive fee-fi-fo-FUN FUN FUN for the whole family!

Buying a non-member ticket?
An event fee is applied to each non-member ticket. Why not make use of the linked membership scheme and earn yourself £10 by joining them up to CSSC, they will save the non-member event fee, and purchase the ticket at the discounted members rate. Invite your non-member guests to join CSSC here.
Please note that non-member event fee is non-refundable.
Babes in arms
Babes in Arms tickets must be purchased directly from Kings Theatre Box Office on arrival. If in doubt, please check with The Kings Theatre first regarding age restriction.
Children must remained seated on a lap, if you wish them to have their own seat, you will need to purchase a full ticket.
Notes and restrictions
One CSSC member priced ticket per unique CSSC membership. Discounted price available on first two child tickets, any additional child or guest tickets must be purchased at full price.
Up to six tickets may be purchased in total. If you think you will need more than 6, please contact the organiser via the contact details below to discuss.
Tickets will not be issued until closer to the event, at early November at the earliest.
Please note these are paper tickets and will be posted out. Please remember to add £1.00 postage fee this is per order and not per event.
Failure to add postage fee may delay your order. Please check your SPAM/JUNK folders if you have not received your tickets as there may be a request for payment.
