Join us for the Seniors Team Tennis Competition 🎾
Gather your squad and enter this exciting doubles competition designed for CSSC members aged 50 and over in 2027! Open to Men and Women of all abilities, play for fun or play to win.
Event Format
Courts are booked from 10-6pm each day, we have the use of 6 indoor courts and 4 outdoor courts depending on number of entries. A team can consist of a squad, but each match will involve four players, 2 pairs from each side. Substitutions are allowed within a match after the first rubbers have been played. Hopefully with entries the format will be round robin over 2 full days of tennis.
The winners and runners-up of the Ladies and Men’s team events will be presented with individual mementos, as well as the perpetual trophies.
Eligibility
Open to all CSSC members of all abilities who are age 50 or more in 2027.
If you are not part of a team but wish to take part in this event, please pay and register your interest on the CSSC booking page.
There will hopefully be plenty of people who will enter individually to make up composite teams, which the organiser will match up.
Grading/Level of Play
Please grade you’re playing level. This is to help us with the format and scheduling.
A - You are approaching or playing at county standard.
B - You are a regular team player in a league in higher divisions but are not currently county standard.
C - You play regularly in a club/leisure centre in lower /middle divisions.
D - You play at a club/leisure centre, but do not play in a club team.
E - You have been playing a while but are not yet playing at any clubs.
F - Just started playing and can hit the ball. You have a basic understanding of the rules.
Hotel Details
Please Note - Only book your accommodation when it has been confirmed that you are in a team if you are entering as an individual.
Individuals are responsible for their own bookings and payment with the hotel.
You will need to contact and book your hotel room direct and pay for your accommodation, nights available Sunday/Monday and Tuesday.

Travel Support Fund
You may be eligible for financial support from the CSSC Travel Support, supported by the CSSC Community Lottery, for this event.
The Travel Support aims to reduce financial barriers and help members take part in sports and physical activity. Priority will be given to those who need it most, particularly individuals who may otherwise be unable to attend CSSC organised events due to travel costs.
