London Concertante presents an evening of unforgettable film music, performed in the atmospheric glow of candlelight.
This programme brings together some of cinema’s most evocative scores – from the sweeping themes of Gone with the Wind and Titanic, to the intimate charm of Amélie and Il Postino. Alongside classics like Casablanca and Love Actually, the concert also explores timeless concert works that have found a place on the big screen.
Performed by the world-class ensemble, with sparkling contributions from strings, winds, harp, accordion, and even drums, this programme offers something truly special for film lovers and music enthusiasts alike.

The closing date for applications is 6th February 2026 at 12pm or when tickets sell out.
Each CSSC Member may purchase one CSSC Member priced ticket per unique CSSC membership number, plus one non-member ticket for guests.

Additional information
Doors open at 45 minutes before the start of the show. The seating in each price band is unreserved, so it's worth coming early.
Performances are usually around 2 hours long including a short interval.
There is a fully licensed bar onsite which will be open from when doors open.
No specific dress code. We would like our audience to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible - and dressed warmly - to enjoy the performance.
Also, some cathedrals don't have the most comfortable of seats! Please feel free to bring a cushion along to sit on for comfort.
All seating is unreserved in each price band, so the earlier you arrive, the better the seats you'll be able to get. If you're in a larger group, we strongly recommend you arrive early to ensure that you can all sit together. As lots of the cathedrals events are sold out, it really is worth getting there in good time to make sure you're seated where you want to be.
