Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Played indoors on a badminton court and a slightly modified tennis net. Two or four players use solid paddles made of composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, over a net.

People of all abilities are welcomed: from those who have never tried pickleball before to experienced players. It’s a very sociable and inclusive sport suitable for all ages and fitness abilities. We have grandparents playing grandchildren and everyone in between!

Playing twice a week at the Wrexham University Sports Hall our sessions operate on a 10 minute per game basis mixing and changing players of all abilities and also allows time for players to sit out as and if required. It is a great way to keep fit, and you’ll meet new people and find yourself laughing with strangers

We are currently trying to gauge the interest of playing pickleball in Wrexham and to help us achieve this we need to know the number of people interested in the sport. So, if you’re interested in learning more about pickleball, how to improve your game, master the art of dinking (as opposed to smashing) or just generally wanting to try something new we need to hear from you 😊
