Venue
To be held at York Golf Club which is an England Golf Championship Venue. 2024 saw the club host not just CSSC but also the English Women’s Senior Amateur Championships and the Northern Final of the R&A Coronation Fours. The course ranks in the Top 10 in Yorkshire, a significant nod to the quality of course that is offered to visitors all year round!
CDH number
When booking you will be asked for your CDH number. This ensures a fair competition by verifying each player’s handicap. You can get this through membership of a golf club or by signing up to iGolf - Golf England (this is currently £46 per year). Players without a CDH number are welcome to take part; however, eligibility for any prizes or progression opportunities (should these be confirmed) may be subject to CDH requirements. iGolf is designed for independent golfers and is there to give you peace of mind, so you can play without worrying about unexpected costs from accidents, injuries, or lost gear.

You may be eligible for financial support from the Travel Support Fund, supported by the CSSC Community Lottery, for this event. To learn more and check your eligibility, please see the guidance notes. The Travel Support Fund aims to reduce financial barriers and help members take part in sports and physical activity. Priority will be given to those who need it most, particularly individuals who may otherwise be unable to attend CSSC organised events due to travel costs. Golf Final:
📍 Location: The Nottinghamshire, Nottingham
📅 Date: Thursday 10th and Friday 11th September 2026
Details: Those who qualify for the national event through their regional will receive complimentary participation in two rounds of golf on championship courses.
Accommodation costs are the responsibility of the participant. CSSC has reserved twin bedrooms on a first-come, first-served basis for qualifiers, which will be made available for booking following the conclusion of all regional events. The rate is £90.50 per person, which includes a two-course dinner on Thursday and breakfast on Friday.
