Visiting the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway offers a charming and scenic steam train journey through the stunning Lake District National Park. The railway embarks from Ravenglass, the only coastal village within the Lake District National Park. The 7-mile (11.3 km) line takes you on a picturesque journey across the estuary and into the heart of Eskdale, concluding at Dalegarth for Boot Station, situated at the foot of England's highest mountains.
