This year, Chester Zoo are thrilled to partner once again with Sony Music to bring you an even more immersive and interactive experience.
Here’s a glimpse of what awaits you:
Walk through illuminated walkways. Experience our brand-new immersive attractions, including the shimmering glowing ribbons, rainbow arches, gingerbread men, and the whimsical bubble walk. Marvel at the Aurora projection, mimicking the Northern Lights. Gaze at the Kaleidoscope Stars. Feel like James Bond in the Laser Garden. Interact with the playful animal puppets, including snow leopards, zebras, peacocks, and penguins!
Discover even more animal lanterns and that’s not all! Along the way, you can indulge in festive food markets filled with tasty treats and meet Father Christmas, making it the perfect outing for everybody!

Buying a non-member ticket?
A £6 booking fee is applied to each non-member ticket. Why not make use of the linked membership scheme and earn yourself £10 by joining them up to CSSC, they will save the non-member fee , and be able to purchase the ticket the the discounted member's rate. Invites your non-member guests to join CSSC here.

This event is open to CSSC Members and their guests
Each member can purchase one discounted CSSC member ticket and two discounted child ticket.
A free ticket needs to be reserved for babies
Food and drink will be available to buy throughout the evening along the lantern route. Last food orders at 9pm
Your ticket does not include day admission to the zoo - tickets for day admission must be purchased separately
Wrap up warm and bring your waterproofs ….. just in case!
There is plenty of FREE car parking spaces at the main entrance
