About the event

Time: 11.30am to approx. 5pm

Date: Tuesday 7th July 2026
Time: 9.30am to approx. 5pm
📍Location: Vale Resort, Hensol Rd, Hensol, Pontyclun, CF72 8JY
We will be using both courses at Vale Resort (Lake Course and Wales National Course) on both days and the field will be split

Who can enter?
Entrants must be a CSSC Member to enter at the members price. Players from the Civil Service, (Affiliated/Retired), Armed Services, Police and Fire Services can also enter at the non-members price.
NB: Full handicap stableford format for both days of competition (max. handicap 28 for men, 36 for women) The Haddow event this year will be held as a standalone event.
Entry fee
💰 CSSC Members: £155 per person based on sharing a twin room
💰 Non members: £189 per person based on sharing a twin room + £6 non member event fee
💰 Single occupancy rooms at £50pp supplement, subject to limited availability
All entry fees include a £10 drinks voucher!
Buying a non-member ticket?
An event fee is applied to each non-member ticket. Why not make use of the linked membership scheme and earn yourself £10 by joining them up to CSSC, they will save the non-member event fee, and purchase the ticket at the discounted members rate. Invite your non-member guests to join CSSC here.
Please note that non-member event fee is non-refundable.

Each participating body may be represented by a max. of 2 teams of up to 4 players.
NB. Individuals may enter but, in the unlikely event of limited spaces, priority will be given to team entries.

🏆 1st Day (Afternoon): Sir Ernley Blackwell Trophy
18 hole Stableford event (pm)
Full handicap allowance
Trophy awarded to the player with the highest Stableford Points Score.
🏆 2nd Day (Morning): Donald Tutt Cup
18 hole Stableford event (am)
Full handicap allowance
Cup awarded to the player with the highest Stableford Points Score.
🏆 1st + 2nd Day (Combined): Haddow Trophy
Team aggregate using best 3 from 4 scores for each round
Trophy awarded to the Team with the highest aggregate Stableford scores for the 2 days of play.
