Electric Summer is coming to Taunton — and it’s set to be the ultimate celebration of iconic 80s synth, feel-good vibes, and unforgettable live music with Howard Jones, Heaven 17, Blancmange, Mesh, Black Nail Cabaret, Neon Fields and Agency-V. Also DJ sets with Paul Dakeyne.

This brand-new festival brings together legendary artists, rising new bands, incredible DJ sets, and a community of music lovers ready to enjoy 80s legends in Vivary Park, Taunton, TA1 3SX.

Buying a non-member ticket?

An event fee is applied to each non-member ticket. Why not make use of the linked membership scheme and earn yourself £10 by joining them up to CSSC, they will save the non-member event fee, and purchase the

Timings

  • 12.30pm - Gates open

Important Information

Non-member tickets is limited to 1 ticket for each CSSC member ticket purchased.

Refunds: Tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded. However, if all tickets sell out we will operate a waiting list so please notify the CSSC Organiser if you are unable to attend.

Weather: This is an outside concert and therefore please ensure you dress accordingly for the weather: - bring sunscreen and a sun hat if it's sunny; If wet please bring suitable rainwear. Please note that umbrella's are not permitted.

The weather: any other unforeseen events may influence programme timings which are subject to change for the safety of guests and artists. Unless conditions become dangerous, the event will proceed.

Parking: there are no car parking facilities within the park - however, Vivary Park is a very short walk from the Orchard multi-storey, and the High Street car park. Note that, although advertised hours of operation for Sundays currently show as closing late afternoon, they will remain open for the full duration of our event, until well after it ends. Alternatively, click here for a bigger list of car parks within a decent stroll of Vivary Park.

Ticket Scanning: when arriving at the venue on the day, please ensure your ticket is available for immediate scanning either on a printed ticket or shown on your mobile device.

Dogs: are not permitted at this event with the exception of assistance / service dogs, which must be leashed throughout the duration of the event. Unleashed dogs and their owners / minders will be immediately asked to leave the event with no right of return.

Seating: is not provided however guests are welcome to bring foldable camping chairs. On entering the area, you’ll be directed to specific areas where such seating will be permitted.

Accessibility: If you plan to attend in a wheelchair please email the organiser to check for availability within the wheelchair section. Those attending on a Mobility scooter will be directed to a specific zone by our team. Those requiring walking sticks & walking aids / frames are permitted.

Water: one unopened / sealed plastic bottle of water will be permitted on entry.

Alcohol and food: is strictly not permitted and will be disposed of should anyone be found attempting to bring these items into the park. Food and drinks will be available to purchase from vendors at the event.

Medical note: anyone with specific dietary requirements as a result of a medical condition can bring specific, pre-prepared items with them, subject to producing a medical note or medical ID for presentation to our stewards on arrival at the entrance. Failure to produce supporting evidence means your items will be disposed of.

Bags: bags are permitted but must be no bigger than A4 size. Note that ALL BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED PRIOR TO ENTRY.

Cameras: Large cameras, for still or video purposes are not permitted into the venue, however you may use your mobile phone camera.

Further information

You will receive your tickets directly from the Event Organiser by Email approx two weeks prior to the event. Please ensure you provide the email that you wish your tickets to be sent - and it is correctly spelt. If you have not received your tickets 7 days before the event please check your spam folder and if still not received please email CSSC.Taunton@csscvolunteer.co.uk so we can check with the event organiser. IMPORTANT NOTE – please ensure you enter your email address correctly!
