Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

CSSC is committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, creating welcoming, inclusive environments where everyone can thrive.

Turning Commitment into Action

We are committed to:

  • Creating safe, welcoming environments at all CSSC events
  • Removing barriers to participation
  • Celebrating diverse cultures and experiences
  • Ensuring fairness, respect and equal opportunity
  • Listening to members and improving continuously

Our EDI Inclusion Plan sets out clear, measurable actions to strengthen inclusion across everything we do—from data and policies to partnerships and projects. This ensures we stay accountable, transparent, and focused on creating a culture where everyone can feel valued and thrive.

Stronger Together – Partner Organisations

We work with like-minded organisations to strengthen our EDI efforts and create more inclusive opportunities.

We are proud to be part of the Disability Confident Scheme and collaborate with partners such as Boccia England and the Muslim Golf Association to deliver accessible sport.

You can find out more about the Muslim Golf Association event here, which focused on creating an inclusive environment for women to enjoy golf, share experiences, and build meaningful connections. We also work with inclusive organisations, including English Heritage, Cadw and Personify Health, where together, these partnerships help break down barriers so more members can take part with confidence and feel included.

Families participating in inclusive outdoor activities can make a difference

Get involved in EDI volunteering to give back, develop your skills, and connect with others, just like those who have shared positive experiences.

I loved learning about a new sport and meeting new people.

I enjoyed helping my local community.

I loved that at the event I was learning new skills to put into practice when volunteering in future, networking and understanding more about CSSC.

Using one of my volunteering days for good!
