Step into the lively world of the 1940s at Bletchley Park with lots to do for all ages. Enjoy the fabulous and fantastic1940s weekend with coach travel from East Kent.
For a joyful weekend in September, Bletchley Park will be buzzing with music, colour and character, as 1940s Britain springs to life around you. Perfect for families, friends and curious minds of all ages.
There is a packed schedule of entertainment throughout the weekend, with live music, dancing, activities for families and demonstrations.
Learn how to swing dance and then try out your new steps to boogie to vintage tunes performed by live bands and singers. Sing along to timeless melodies that helped keep spirits lifted during tough times, or tap your toes while sat in a deckchair. Try your hand at breaking coded messages. Browse and buy unique 1940s-inspired treasures, including clothing, accessories, and memorabilia. Meet characters from World War Two, both military and civilian, brought to life by reenactors in vintage dress.
Put in your victory rolls and don your best 1940s attire, or come as you are – everyone welcome! All our exhibitions are open as usual for you to explore how the Codebreakers at Bletchley Park played a vital role during World War Two. Walk in their footsteps through refurbished original wartime buildings and hear their stories in their own words. Explore interactive exhibits to reveal what life was like at Bletchley Park and discover the impact the intelligence produced had on the conflict.
So, dust off your dancing shoes or grab a deck chair and help us celebrate with the whole family. Make it a weekend to remember!
