Cineworld Gift Box Prize Draw - Terms and Conditions

1.  Acceptance of these Terms 

By entering into this Prize Draw, you will be deemed to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Prize Draw form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

2.  Participants 

Entrants must be UK residents and must be 18 years old or over to enter the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Cineworld Cinemas, Spark Limited, W&J Linney, Disney, Cloud Nine Incentives Ltd, or their immediate families, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw.

3.  How to Enter

To enter the Prize Draw, entrants simply need to: 

1. Book a ticket / tickets to Cineworld online via CSSC.  Entrants will then receive a booking confirmation email from Cineworld, which will provide a booking reference number.
2. Visit the promotional website https://promotions.cineworld.co.uk/CineworldCSSC (“microsite”) and enter the booking reference number as well as the entrant’s full name and email address.

Entries will be rejected if they: i) contain defamatory, malicious, indecent, immoral or other inappropriate content including sexist or racist language, ii) include the names, likenesses or similar of any individual without their express permission; iii) condone or encourage violent or anti-social behaviour; iv) cause offence on the grounds of religion, gender, sexual orientation, nudity, disability or age; or have negative attitudes about the promoter or any of its related partners.
 
Cineworld reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
 
Cineworld is unable to accept entries other than via the microsite. Cineworld accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering the Prize Draw. Entries must be received between 00:01 Monday the 10th June 2024 (the “Opening Date”) and 23:59 Sunday the 16th of May 2024 (the “Closing Date”). 
 
 4.  The Draw 

All entries received by the Closing Date will be collected together and two (2) winners will be drawn at random from all the eligible entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. 

The winners will be selected by a random computer process that produces verifiably random results or by an independent person, or under the supervision of an independent person. The draw will take place within seven (7) days of the Closing Date. 

The winners will be contacted within fourteen (14) days of draw taking place. The winner will have 10 days to response once contacted. 

Should the Promoter be unable to contact a winner or should a winner be unable to accept the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions. Cineworld's decision regarding the winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners may be required to take part in publicity and by entering this Prize Draw they hereby agree to taking part in any such publicity. Entrants’ details will not be passed on or used for any data purposes and destroyed once the competition has ended and a winner is announced.

5.  The Prize

Each winner will be sent one (1) Gift Box. The prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made.

• Unless otherwise stated there are 2 prizes being offered. Each prize consists of 1 x Gift Box - Specific T&Cs on the Gif box are below. Each person participating in a prize will be referred to in these terms as a “Participant”. Where any Participant is aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission. 
• Each prize must be redeemed 6 months after contacted. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorized by Cloud Nine and the competition promoter. 
• All items offered are subject to availability. - No refund will be offered. 
• Each prize is non-transferable or exchangeable, cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other special offer. There is no cash alternative or refund for any unused portions of the prize.
• All other costs and expenses in taking up either prize not set out in the stated prize description will be at the Participants’ expense, these include but are not limited to additional games, cases, screen protectors etc.  
• Cineworld cannot replace any lost, stolen or damaged items. 
• The prize comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty, this will be forward to the participant electronically. 
• Some prizes may require a signature upon delivery, the recipient must be aged 18 or over.  
• Prizes will be delivered within 28 days.  

6.  Winner's details 

The surname and county of the winner will be disclosed to anyone who writes within one month after the published Closing Date and encloses a stamped addressed envelope, to Cineworld and CSSC Draw, Marketing Department, Cineworld Cinemas, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG. Winners who wish to object to publication of their surname and county, should notify Cineworld in advance of the published closing date by contacting Customer.Services@Cineworld.co.uk / 0330 333 4444. Further details about entrant’s rights in relation to their personal data are set out in the Cineworld Privacy Policy (available at www.cineworld.com). 

7.  Promoter and Promoter's Rights 

The promoter of this Prize Draw is Cineworld Cinemas Limited, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG (“Cineworld”). Cineworld reserves the right to (i) amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the Prize Draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.

8.  Limitation of Liability 

Entrants agree to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to release and forever discharge Cineworld Cinemas Limited, and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, assigns and employees, and any entity or person connected with the Prize Draw from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever which may now or hereafter arise, including but not limited to any loss of enjoyment, costs, delays or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of or in connection with the Prize or Promotion. 

9.  Exclusions

Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the Prize package is excluded.

10.  Jurisdiction 

These terms and conditions (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11.  Data Protection 

All data provided by participants will be treated in line with Cineworld Cinemas' Privacy Policy (available on the Cineworld website at www.cineworld.com) and only for the purpose of running the Prize Draw and administration of the Prize. 

 

Gift Box T&CS

2D FILM VOUCHERS 

1. This voucher may be exchanged for two standard adult (or child) tickets to any standard 2D performance at any Cineworld cinema in the UK excluding Cineworld Dublin and Picturehouse Cinemas. 
2. Uplift applicable for 3D, IMAX, 4DX, Superscreen and ScreenX. 3D glasses will need to be purchased at an additional cost. Not valid for Event Cinema, Special Unlimited Screenings, Special Advance Screenings and Movies for Juniors.  
3. This voucher is valid for use from the date of purchase for 6 months. Once expired, the voucher will be invalid and cannot be extended, replaced or refunded. It is not replaceable if lost, stolen or damaged and no refund will be given. This voucher is subject to the terms available at www.cineworld.com/terms/gift-cards-and-e-gift-cards.  
4. This voucher may be used once only to either book cinema tickets online at www.cineworld.com or via Cineworld App by entering the 17 digit e-code underneath the QR code on the front of this voucher or exchanged for a ticket at the box office at any Cineworld Cinema. When booking online using the e-code  a booking / processing fee per person for whom a seat is booked will apply, full Ts&Cs available at www.cineworld.com/terms. Customers who do not wish to pay the fee can exchange this voucher for a ticket in person at the cinema. 
5. Admission is subject to availability, normal age restrictions apply – ID may be required, and any other relevant standard Ts&Cs including general admission terms apply (available at www.cineworld.com/terms/in-cinema).  
6. This voucher may not be used in conjunction with any other offer.  
7. There is no cash alternative; this voucher is not transferable and may not be re-sold.  
8. If the voucher has not been validly issued (for whatever reason) proof of purchase will be required in order to replace or activate the voucher.  
9. Photocopies of this voucher will not be accepted.  
10. Cineworld Cinema reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

CINEMA SNACKS 

LARGE DRINK AND LARGE POPCORN, HOT DOG OR NACHOS 

1. This voucher may be exchanged for 1 large soft drink or frozen drink; and your choice of either 1 large Hot Dog, Nachos or Popcorn at any Cineworld cinemas in the UK excluding Cineworld Dublin and Picturehouse Cinemas.  
2. Retail products cannot be substituted for any other items.  
3. This voucher is valid for use from the date of purchase for 6 months. Once expired, the voucher will be invalid and cannot be extended, replaced or refunded. 
4. Please keep this voucher in a safe place. It is not replaceable if lost, stolen or damaged and no refund will be given.  
5. The voucher is to be used in one transaction only and will be valid when presented for exchange. 
6. The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and cannot be exchanged wholly or partly for cash and no change will be given.  
7. Products subject to availability.  
8. If the voucher has not been validly issued (for whatever reason) proof of purchase will be required in order to replace or activate the voucher.  
9. Photocopies of this voucher will not be accepted.
