This Tuesday marks Remembrance Day, when the whole country will pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by the brave men and women of our armed forces.

Formed in the aftermath of the first World War to unite an embattled nation, CSSC has been a proud supporter of our active and veteran service personnel and their families for over 100 years. Uniting The Army, The Royal Airforce, The Royal Navy and the Ministry of Defence with sporting competitions and providing thousands of opportunities for members to spend time with their loved ones and enjoy their free time.

Armed Forces Covenant

In 2019, our then CEO, Simon Lee announced our commitment to uphold the ideals of the Armed Forces Covenant, a pledge to treat all those who have served, continue to serve and their families with fairness and respect in the community, economy and society.

The Covenant, written in 1997, includes all branches of the armed forces, including veterans, and their families, focuses on providing education, wellbeing, financial assistance, healthcare, a new home and new career for those who need it.

We are committed to honouring those who serve in the armed forces and providing the tools, events, experiences and opportunities they and their families need to stay active, healthy and connected.
