Participants of this fun, 10km lap walk of the beautiful park, hope to raise £6,000 to help fund their vital work. Which includes over 6,000 annual contact visits in person, on the phone and by letter, to former civil servants who are experiencing loneliness or social isolation.
Their work is so important, more so now than ever before, and so we are happy to help the team at the CSRF by raising awareness of this fun day.
What can you do to help?
If you’re in the Greenwich Park area on 18 September, why not pop along to cheer them on. Look out for some animal onesies!
You can donate online at Walk for friendship or by telephone on 020 8691 7411.
Or you can find out more about their important work and get involved through their website.
