Join Hunts, Cambs and Beds Area to visit the beautiful gardens of Audley End House run by English Heritage.
CSSC has corporate membership of English Heritage and so CSSC members may take advantage of free entry with only the cost of the tour guide. We will explore the glorious gardens that were among the largest and most opulent in Jacobean England (1603-1625) and discover the views that were originally created by Capability Brown, one of the most English famous landscape architects.
We will see the beautifully restored parterre and the Kitchen Gardens. The tour will be led by an Audley End garden expert.There are also the grounds and parkland to explore, including the Elysian Garden, inspired by Greek mythology, which run beside the River Cam.
What's included
The guided tour of around one and half hours, starting at 10.30am. Please arrive at 10:15
The tour will cover approximately a distance of half a mile on foot.
The café will be open after the tour for refreshments, including cream teas.
Members are welcome to explore the gardens and grounds before or after the guided tour

Notes and Restrictions
The closing date for purchasing tickets is Saturday 31st of July 2026 or when tickets sell out.
Each CSSC Member may purchase one CSSC Member priced ticket per unique CSSC membership number.
